If they do in fact have the same hair type then yes it would be an example of convergent evolution. Of course one would have to examine hair from both figures under a microscope to access if they are the same.Chinese humans and chimps have the same straight black hair. This is a classic example of a silly, if not insensitive, question.


The hair of homo sapiens sapiens, regardless of race or ethnicity, is entirely different from the hair of chimpanzees and other hominids. Could it have evolved? Show me dem bones. We are all products of evolution, but the connections between current species diverged millenia ago.
